Quilting Stochastic Kronecker Product Graphs to Generate Multiplicative Attribute Graphs

چکیده
We describe the first sub-quadratic sampling algorithm for the Multiplicative Attribute Graph Model (MAGM) of Kim and Leskovec (2010). We exploit the close connection between MAGM and the Kronecker Product Graph Model (KPGM) of Leskovec et al. (2010), and show that to sample a graph from a MAGM it suffices to sample small number of KPGM graphs and quilt them together. Under a restricted set of technical conditions our algorithm runs in O ( (log2(n)) 3 |E| ) time, where n is the number of nodes and |E| is the number of edges in the sampled graph. We demonstrate the scalability of our algorithm via extensive empirical evaluation; we can sample a MAGM graph with 8 million nodes and 20 billion edges in under 6 hours.

The Spectra of Multiplicative Attribute Graphs
A multiplicative attribute graph is a random graph in which vertices are represented by random words of length t in a finite alphabet Γ, and the probability of adjacency is a symmetric function Γt×Γt → [0, 1]. These graphs are a generalization of stochastic Kronecker graphs, and both classes have been shown to exhibit several useful real world properties. We establish asymptotic bounds on the s...
متن کاملVertex Censored Stochastic Kronecker Product Graphs
Stochastic Kronecker Product Graphs are an interesting and useful class of Generative Network Models. They can be fitted using a fast Maximum Likelihood Estimator and reproduce many important statistical properties commonly found in large real-world networks. However, they suffer from an unfortunate drawback: the need to pad the Stochastic Kronecker Product Graph with isolated vertices. To addr...
متن کاملSharp Upper bounds for Multiplicative Version of Degree Distance and Multiplicative Version of Gutman Index of Some Products of Graphs
In $1994,$ degree distance of a graph was introduced by Dobrynin, Kochetova and Gutman. And Gutman proposed the Gutman index of a graph in $1994.$ In this paper, we introduce the concepts of multiplicative version of degree distance and the multiplicative version of Gutman index of a graph. We find the sharp upper bound for the multiplicative version of degree distance and multiplicative ver...
متن کاملEfficiently Sampling Multiplicative Attribute Graphs Using a Ball-Dropping Process
In this talk I will describe the first sub-quadratic sampling algorithm for the Multiplicative Attribute Graph Model (MAGM, Kim and Leskove 2010). To design our algorithm, we first define a stochastic ball-dropping process (BDP). Although a special case of this process was introduced as an efficient approximate sampling algorithm for the Kronecker Product Graph Model (KPGM, Leskovec et al 2010)...
متن کاملDistance-based topological indices of tensor product of graphs
Let G and H be connected graphs. The tensor product G + H is a graph with vertex set V(G+H) = V (G) X V(H) and edge set E(G + H) ={(a , b)(x , y)| ax ∈ E(G) & by ∈ E(H)}. The graph H is called the strongly triangular if for every vertex u and v there exists a vertex w adjacent to both of them. In this article the tensor product of G + H under some distancebased topological indices are investiga...
